CITY TO CANVASS BRENHAM ELECTION RESULTS, TUESDAY
The Brenham City Council will canvas the 2019 election when they meet, Tuesday morning.
The board will meet a 8:30 a.m. to officially declare the results of the May 4th election.
In that election, the Ward 4 Council race saw challenger Adonna Saunders defeated long-time incumbent Danny Goss 177-144.
Mayor Milton Tate was re-elected to another term, defeating former mayor and county judge, Dorothy Morgan, 791 votes to 608.
Incumbent Ward 2 Councilmember Albert Wright, running unopposed, was re-elected.
The special Tuesday morning meeting will be held at 8:30 in Council Chambers at City Hall.
