FOUR BLINN STUDENTS ELECTED TO STATE-WIDE STUDENT GOV. POSITIONS

  

Four students across Blinn’s Brenham, Bryan, and Schulenburg campuses were recently elected for Texas Junior College Student Government Association (TJCSGA) leadership roles.

One student from Brenham, two from Bryan and one from Schulenburg were elected to state and region roles in the TJCSGA for next school year.

Blinn-Bryan student Chyenne Michael will serve as state parliamentarian, while Blinn-Schulenburg’s Ubaldo Villasana will serve as state historian.  Blinn-Bryan’s Albert Richardson will act as Region IV president, and Villasana as Region IV secretary.  Blinn Brenham’s JD Roberts was elected as Region IV parliamentarian.

Blinn-Brenham Student Leadership and Activities Coordinator Emily Tiefenhaler assumed the position of Region IV Advisor Elect for 2020.

Blinn-Brenham’s Addison Elstner and Mason Sumrall recently completed their roles as state parliamentarian and Region IV vice president, respectively.  Both will attend Texas A&M University in the fall.

The TJCSGA is made up of more than 72 member colleges across the state.
