BRYAN MAN SENTENCED TO 27 YEARS IN CHILD’S DEATH
A Bryan man has been sentenced to prison in the death of a 21-month old toddler.
Alex Balleno was sentenced to 27 years in prison in the death of Jarek Cadena back in 2016.
Balleno was accused of injuring the child by shaking him, while the boy’s mother was away.
In court this morning (Monday), Cadena's family had the opportunity to explain to Balleno the impact his actions had on their family.
Balleno will get credit for time served on his sentence.
