“EDDIE” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Eddie” as its Pet of the Week.

Eddie is a Shepherd mix, around one or two years old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say he has lived outside most of his life with a large group of dogs.  He was very shy when he came in to the shelter, but he is warming up to staff a little more each day.  Staff say they are also looking to get him into the vet sometime this week for a checkup, as he was in somewhat rough shape when he came in.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, but all of the shelter’s available pets for adoption can be seen at www.petfinder.com.  Staff say many of the pets are currently in foster, so it may take a few phone calls to arrange a time to meet a pet.

Anyone interested in fostering or adopting a pet can call 979-337-7351, or go to the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.
