FAYETTE CO. FAIR NAMES FAIR QUEEN, LITTLE MISTER & MISS FAYETTE CO.

  

The royalty of the Fayette County Fair were announced Thursday night at the Fayette County Fair Pageant.

The pageant was one of the few fair activities not cancelled in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s Fayette County Fair Queen, with $10,955 worth of season pass sales, was Cierra Fitzpatrick representing Kyla Faith Memorial.

First Runner Up was Raygen Pyle representing the La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce, with $8,710 in sales.  Second Runner Up was Layne Morgan Wied representing the Knights of Columbus #2754, with $8,155 in sales.  Halie Peter, representing the Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse, was Third Runner Up with sales of $5,180.

Most Photogenic in the Queens Contest was Abigail Stockdale, who was also winner of Miss Congeniality.  Wied was named Miss Beauty and Poise.

Just over 1,150 season passes were sold for $40,595, 50 percent of last year’s season pass sales in a shortened amount of time for a fair that has been postponed to next year.

In the Little Mister and Miss Pageant, Lilly Herzog was named Little Miss Fayette County, with First, Second, and Third Runners Up being Hope Wunderlich, A’Mara Shepert, and McKinley Klesel, respectively.  Rilan Karisch was named Little Mister.  Most Photogenic was McKinley Klesel, and Most Personality was Lilly Herzog.

KTEX-106’s Cactus Ken Murray will be at the Fayette County Fair tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, broadcasting live from the KTEX Country Cruiser.  The broadcast is sponsored by Brawley Dental Clinic, La Grange Ford, Lexington Livestock Commission, Murphy’s Steakhouse, and Round Top Farm and Ranch.
