SPRING WOMAN DEAD FOLLWING EARLY-MORNING SHOOTING AT RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL CAMPGROUND
A Houston-area teen is dead following a Sunday morning shooting at the campgrounds of the Texas Renaissance Festival.
According to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year old Isabella Cimetta of Spring died at a Bryan hospital after she was shot shortly before 3:00 a.m.

Prior to the shooting, deputies had been dispatched to a disturbance in progress at the campgrounds.
22-year old Sean Campbell, also of Spring, has been taken into custody, charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
According to authorities, Cimetta was shot while Campbell and another man were struggling over a handgun. Campbell fled the scene and was found a short time later by deputies.
A spokeswoman for the Renaissance Festival said it would still be open to the public, Sunday.
