DALLAS MEDIA REPORTING LONGHORNS CONSIDERING MEYER AS NEW HEAD COACH

105-The Fan in Dallas is reporting that Urban Meyer could be in line to be the next coach of the Texas Longhorns.

Bryan Broaddus of The Fan, is reporting that Meyer is in fact engaged in talks to be the next head coach in Austin.

Meyer disciple Tom Herman is 30-18 overall in four years in Austin, and 21-13 in conference play.

A recent report by a local Austin outlet that Meyer’s wife has been shopping for properties in the area.

Bruce Feldman of The Athletic/FOX Sports believes the school is “prepared to move on” from Tom Herman this year if need be.  According to USA Today‘s coaching salary database, Herman would be owed over $15 million per his buyout, as of Dec. 1.
