BRENHAM ISD TO HOLD CLASSES REMOTELY MONDAY
SCHOOL DISTRICT TO DISTRIBUTE BREAKFAST, LUNCH ON MONDAY
Brenham ISD will move to virtual operations on Monday.
The school district announced this (Friday) afternoon that due to continued weather-related complications and the availability of water to district buildings, all classes on Monday will be held remotely.
The district said it will continue to evaluate conditions and adjust the learning instruction method on a day-by-day basis.
Brenham ISD will provide a breakfast and lunch meal to be picked up together for individuals between 1-18 years old on Monday.
Meals will be distributed at:
- Brenham Junior High School, on the side by the snack bar sign, 1200 Carlee Drive, from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
- Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 5295 FM 1155, from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
- Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Washington, 9180 Highway 105, from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
- Liberty Baptist Church in Independence, 10655 FM 50, from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Per Texas Department of Agriculture requirements, children should be in the car when meals are picked up. If the child cannot be in the car, parents are asked to bring their student’s school ID when they come to pick up the meal. If their child is not a Brenham ISD student, they are asked to bring a birth certificate if their child is not in the car.
Parents and children are also asked to remain in their vehicles and to communicate to staff the number of meals needed. Staff will deliver the meals to their vehicle. Anyone with meal questions can email ksteinfeld@brenhamk-12.net.
Remote learners that are experiencing technical difficulties can call Brenham ISD Technology Support at 979-277-3760 or email helpdesk@brenhamk-12.net. Teachers can be contacted by email or by calling their extension and leaving a message with a call back number.
Further updates will be provided as they become available.
