TOM GREEN STREET CONCRETE REPAIRS NOW EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED SATURDAY

  

Crews will be working on Tom Green Street between South Market Street and South Austin Street slightly longer than anticipated.

City of Brenham officials said this (Thursday) afternoon that due to circumstances with the roadway and two early morning rain events, the concrete repairs on Tom Green Street are now expected to be completed Saturday morning.  Work was initially planned to conclude tomorrow (Friday).

The city now plans to reopen the roadway to thru traffic at noon on Saturday.  Until then, traffic will continue to be detoured to Stone Street and Germania Street.
