ST. PAUL’S CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL TO COMMEMORATE 9/11 ANNIVERSARY FRIDAY

St. Paul’s Christian Day School in Brenham will honor the 20th anniversary of September 11th with a program tomorrow (Friday) morning.

The public is invited to attend the program in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Sanctuary.  The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome and prayer, followed by the introduction of third and fourth graders who will sing “A Message to This Land”.

The song was written by Brendon David Nielson, a 7-year-old boy from Utah, and was dedicated to the family members of the victims of the 9/11 attacks and to the people of the United States.

Students will then ring the church bell and sing “God Bless America”.

After the program, students in grades 1-6 will walk to downtown Brenham and around the courthouse square to pay tribute to all victims and their families, as well as first responders.
