JOSÉ FELICIANO NEWLY BOOKED FOR NOV. 6 PERFORMANCE AT THE BARNHILL CENTER
A musician with worldwide acclaim has been newly scheduled for a concert at The Barnhill Center in downtown Brenham.
Josẻ Feliciano will perform at The Barnhill Center on Saturday, November 6th at 7 p.m. as part of an extensive tour to launch a new documentary about his life and to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of “Feliz Navidad”, praised by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers as one of the “25 Greatest Holiday Songs of the Century”.
Show producer Sharon Brass says Feliciano is “by far the most celebrated artist we’ve hosted at The Barnhill Center.”
With over 45 Gold and Platinum Records, Feliciano has won 19 Grammy nominations, earning nine Grammy Awards. He has also received Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Latin Association of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation and Billboard Magazine.
In addition to many pop vocal hits, Feliciano has been acclaimed throughout his life by worldwide critics as the greatest living guitarist. Guitar Player Magazine awarded him “Best Pop Guitarist”, placing him in their “Gallery of the Greats”.
Feliciano’s band during this tour includes his sons, Jonathan on drums and Michael on bass guitar.
