GRIMES CO. AUTHORITIES SEARCHING FOR MISSING CHILD

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing child.

3-year-old Christopher Ramirez was last seen between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 10000 block of Deer Park Lane, located in the Fox Fire subdivision in Plantersville.

According to the sheriff’s office, Ramirez was playing with a neighbor’s dog when he chased it into the woods.  The dog later returned, but the boy has not been seen since.

Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell does not suspect foul play at this time.

Ramirez is approximately 3 feet tall and weighs between 40 and 45 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a bright green shirt, unknown color shorts and red Mickey Mouse shoes.

Multiple agencies are assisting the sheriff’s office with the search, which has included the use of a DPS helicopter and K9 units.  The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley is also helping with the search.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 936-873-2151.
