Brenham Junior High School has named a new Duke and Duchess.
Landry Mendoza and Jordyn Dickson were crowned at the junior high school’s homecoming pep rally on Tuesday.
Other candidates were Gonzalo Chavez Barbosa, Drake Bentke, Gillian Childs, Victoria Dippel, Stevie Donnell, Zorion Gillum, Jake Knowles, Caleb Landry, Antyiahna Lang, Tye Mabry, Paige Marth, Andre Mojica, Noble Pharaon, John Rodriquez, Alyce Sheets, McKenzie Tiemann, Kearstyn Wolfe and Sofia Workman.
Brenham High School will crown a new Homecoming King and Queen this weekend. The queen will be announced during halftime of the Cubs’ game tomorrow (Friday) night versus Pflugerville Connally, which kicks off at 7 p.m. The king will be announced after the game.
