BRENHAM EDF ELECTS NEW DIRECTORS
The Brenham Economic Development Foundation has announced that its members have elected five directors to serve a three-year term on the board starting in December.
Three current directors were re-elected to serve another term which includes Chris Cangelosi, Citizens State Bank, Darren Huckert, Garza EMC, and Jim Kolkhorst, Kolkhorst Foods. Newcomers to the board are Kyle Merten, Bluebonnet Electric and Randy Weidemann, Van Dyke Rankin.
The EDF board presently consists of 16 members, with three sets of five directors serving staggered terms and the immediate past chairman. The remainder of the board includes Blake Brannon, Brannon Industrial Group; Chad Gerke, The Gerke Law Firm; Catherine Kenjura, Lacina & Kenjura; Tee Dippel, Brenham National Bank; Randy Hodde, Hodde Real Estate; Trey Hardy, Germania; Amanda Stolz, Seidel Schroeder; Barney Loesch, Thrivent Financial; Mike Hopkins, Jr., Mike Hopkins Distributing; Jimmy Lawhorn, Blue Bell Creameries; and Melissa McCune, Baylor Scott & White.
Matt Bentke of Bluebonnet Electric and Jarvis Van Dyke of Van Dyke Rankin will be retiring from the Brenham Economic Development Foundation after each having served 9 years on the board of directors.
