14 SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT

  

Fourteen people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.

30-year-old Megan Dawn Gandy of Houston, sentenced to 3 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony.

26-year-old Bishop Tyriq Ryan of Tomball, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years in prison for two cases of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon in Prohibited Places, a third degree felony.

48-year-old Steven Lee Matthews of Spring, sentenced to 114 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.

35-year-old Lorenzo Morales Moreno III of Somerville, sentenced to 30 days in the Washington County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, a Class A misdemeanor. 

26-year-old Daniel Joel Hurtado of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member with Previous Conviction, a third degree felony.  Hurtado was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and $100 family violence shelter fee, perform 50 hours of community service and take anger management classes.

33-year-old Frederick Dion Jackson of Temple, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony, as well as Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a third degree felony.  Jackson will also have to pay a $750 fine and complete a drug offender education program.  Additionally, Jackson was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence, a state jail felony. 

44-year-old Darlene Patricia Graves of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony.  Graves must also perform 50 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.

19-year-old Rodrick Dwayne Jackson of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath or Circulation, a third degree felony.  Jackson will also have to pay a $1,000 fine and $100 family violence shelter fee, perform 150 hours of community service and complete a batterers intervention program.

30-year-old Emily Louise Stolz of Washington, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More, a third degree felony.  Stolz was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and $100 to the EMS Trauma Fund, in addition to performing 100 hours of community service.

31-year-old Robert Thomas McAdoo Jr. of Rockdale, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Stalking, a third degree felony.  McAdoo must also pay a $100 family violence shelter fee, perform 150 hours of community service and maintain no contact with the victim in the case.

34-year-old Aaron Wayne Norman of Rockdale, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.  Norman was also fined $200 and must perform 50 hours of community service and a drug offender education program. 

20-year-old Uvaldo Centeno of Kyle, sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, a second degree felony.  Centeno was also fined $5,000 and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program. 

23-year-old Solyris Zayana Harrell of Missouri City, sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 2-4 Grams, a third degree felony.  Harrell must also pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program. 

31-year-old Taylor Hope Roberts of Bleiblerville, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.  Roberts must also pay a $750 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
