LONE STAR CIRCLE OF LIFE BIKE TOUR TO RIDE INTO BRENHAM WEDNESDAY
A bike tour traveling around Texas to educate about the need for organ donations rides into Brenham tomorrow (Wednesday).
Twelve volunteer cyclists in the Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour began their journey on Saturday in Waco and will arrive at Fireman’s Park at 3 p.m. Brenham resident Tracy Hammac will be in attendance to honor his daughter, Molly, who became a tissue donor in 2018 and changed the lives of 31 recipients.
Hammac says there is a constant and critical need for life-saving donations.
After tomorrow’s event, the bike tour will travel to Austin on Thursday and end on Friday in Temple.
Residents are invited to meet the riders at Fireman’s Park as they tell their stories of why they are riding. They can also register their intent to become donors on the Donate Life Texas Registry.
