WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS AMEND PRECINCT 4 JP OFFICE LEASE, REVISE TWO POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
Washington County Commissioners renewed a lease for the Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace’s office space and approved two revised job position descriptions at a brief meeting today (Tuesday).
The amended lease between the county and Rita, LLC is for the space at 402 North Main Street in Burton. The new lease period, which begins April 1st and runs through April 30, 2025, will have increased rent from $500 to $600 per month.
Also today, the court approved position descriptions for first assistant district attorney and EMS administrative assistant.
Human Resources Director Angela Mlcak said the item for first assistant district attorney is budget-neutral and serves as a restructure to bring back a position that the district attorney’s office previously had to better align with its current employees.
For the EMS administrative assistant position, Mlcak said this action is to place the position within the correct pay grade, as the employee in the position was not being paid at the appropriate level.
The court also:
- Withdrew an item concerning the appointment of a Washington County Extension 4-H agent from the agenda.
- Discussed a formal notice for a two-inch road bore for PGMS for a new water line meter installation on Quail Run Road in Precinct 3. No action was needed.
- Discussed a formal notice for a steel natural gas pipeline crossing for AMP Texas Pipelines, LLC on Faist Road in Precinct 4.
