BURTON TRACK TEAM HAS SUCCESSFUL OUTING AT THE AREA MEET

The Burton High School Track Team took part in the Area Track Meet in Snook on Thursday. The top four finishers in each event advanced to the Regional Meet April 28-29 in Kingsville.

BOYS RESULTS:

Austin Gutierrez - 3rd place in 200 Meter Dash

Andre Ortiz - 1st place in the 800 Meter Run

Hunter Hancock - 3rd place in the 1600 Meter Run and 2nd place in the 3200 Meter Run

Devlin Douglas - 4th place in the 3200 Meter Run

Eli Simank - 1st place in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 3rd place in the 300 Meter Hurdles

Cannon Manley - 2nd place in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 1st place in the 300 Meter Hurdles

Delvin Gantt, Chad Schubert, Austin Gutierrez, and Weston Els - 3rd place in the 4x100 Meter Relay

Eli Simank, Chad Schubert, Austin Gutierrez, and Weston Els - 1st place in the 4x200 Meter Relay
