TEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Ten people pled guilty and were sentenced in District Court by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett this week.
Lonnie Ray Moore, 43 of Brenham, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Macbeth Acevedo-Valdes, 33 of Houston, was sentenced to 2 years in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay $1761 in restitution.
Christian Lamar Thomas, 21 of Brenham, had his probation adjudicated and sentenced to 9 months in state jail for Theft of a Firearm. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
Julian Ray Vela, 35 of Brenham, was sentenced to 9 months in state jail for Attempted Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle. He was also convicted of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was given time served on that charge.
Kasondra Kaye Goodman, 49 of Plantersville, was sentenced to 6 years’ probation for Burglary of a Habitation. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
Kenneth Wayne McDonald, 44 of Hempstead, was sentenced to 7 months in the Washington County Jail for Theft of Property less than $2500, with 2 or More Previous Convictions. He was also ordered to pay $678 in restitution.
Kendra Nicole Christian, 35 of Round Rock, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
Toray Lamont Moore, 44 of Washington, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was also ordered to pay a $800 fine, perform 200 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victim.
John Cecil Kesee, 45 of Brenham, was sentenced to 4 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
