AREA FOOTBALL SCHEDULE FOR TONIGHT (FRIDAY)

The Burton Panthers ended up with a night off. This was the evening that they were supposed to face Runge. However, Runge does not have enough players to field a team, and had to forfeit all their games this season. Runge is expected to drop down to six-man ball when the biannual realignment rolls around.

The Panthers (5-4, 4-1) will return to action next Friday, October 28, for their final regular season game against the Somerville Yeguas. Burton has already clinched a playoff spot and currently sits at second place in District 14-2A Division II.

Somerville is also off this evening for their bye week. The only two district games on the schedule are Falls City at Snook and Yorktown at Louise.
