BELLVILLE BEATS JASPER 31-7 TO ADVANCE TO STATE SEMIS
The Bellville Brahmas continued their march to Arlington with a 31-7 victory of Jasper last (Friday) night.
Jasper scored first to take an early 7-0 lead, but Bellville came back with 31 unanswered points over the final three quarters to get the win.
D.D. Murray led the rushing attack with 15 carries for 154 yards, and two touchdowns.
Zach Leuschner threw an 18-yard TD pass to Hunter Kunkel, and had a two-yard rushing TD.
Fernando Grajales was a perfect on his extra points and hit a field goal as well.
Next week, Bellville will take on Wimberly on Friday at 7:30pm at the P-Field in Pflugerville in the State Semifinals.
Wimberly is coming off of a 38-13 win over Sinton last (Friday) night.
Both Bellville and Wimberly are 14-0 on the season. The winner will go on to play for the State Championship.
