BRENHAM CHICK-FIL-A OPENS THURSDAY
A popular fast food chain opens tomorrow (Thursday) in Brenham.

Chick-fil-A will begin serving its well-known chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, iced tea and lemonade at its location at 1161 Highway 290 East. The restaurant will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out between 6:30 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A Brenham owner-operator Drew Allen, who grew up in Cypress and spent much of his childhood in the Brenham area, is thrilled to be able to open the first Chick-fil-A in Brenham.

The roughly 5,000 square-foot restaurant features a fully dedicated lane in the drive-thru where guests can pick up orders placed on the Chick-fil-A app. On the inside, there is a play area for kids to enjoy as families have their meals.
According to Allen, the restaurant has hired 100 full-time and part-time team members.
Allen wants to prioritize giving back and becoming a true part of the Brenham community.
A ribbon cutting was held with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce this (Wednesday) morning.
