WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO HEAR REPORTS FROM EMS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

A pair of department reports lead Tuesday’s agenda for Washington County Commissioners.

First will be the EMS Department’s quarterly report, which was postponed from this past Tuesday due to EMS Director Kevin Deramus assisting Texas A&M Task Force 1 with rescue efforts amid flooding in East Texas.

After that, the court will hear the Brenham | Washington County Economic Development Department’s first quarter report.

Other business will include consideration of an amendment to the county’s tower site license agreement with telecommunications company GTP Towers I, LLC.

Commissioners will also:

  • Act on orders for plat revision development applications for six lots within the Bluebonnet Hills subdivision and two lots within the Bluebonnet Ridge subdivision, both in Precinct 2.  They will then vote on the plat revisions for both subdivisions.
  • Consider a subdivision variance request for a land division fronting Kolkhorst Schultz Road in Precinct 1.
  • Discuss a formal notice for fiber installation by Industry Telephone Company in the Koether Road right-of-way in Precinct 4.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
