‘HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES’ TO CONCLUDE WITH ‘80s MUSIC OF THE SPICOLIS

All-time hits from the 80’s will fill downtown Brenham tomorrow (Saturday) as “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” closes out for the summer.

The Spicolis will blast back to the days of the MTV generation super groups with their concert, starting at 7 p.m. at the corner of Alamo and Baylor Streets.

The Spicolis are performing in Brenham for the fourth straight year, after making their debut in 2021 following a last-minute lineup change.  Brenham Main Street Manager Leigh Linden says they quickly became a fan favorite.

Visitors, who are encouraged to wear neon colors for the concert’s neon theme, can check out a classic car cruise-in at the west end of Alamo Street, hosted by the Stray Katz Car Club.  Local establishments and food trucks will be open to serve food and drinks.

The free concert is sponsored by Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Strand Associates, and RCR Rail – Jeffrey Pittman.

KTEX-106’s Courtney Cartwright will introduce The Spicolis on stage.
