FAITH MISSION REQUESTS COMMUNITY DONATIONS TO FOOD PANTRY
As the end of summer break nears, Faith Mission is asking the community to pitch in to help families with stretching their back-to-school budgets.
Faith Mission is requesting donations to its food pantry. Items sought include canned fruits and vegetables, soup, chicken, tuna and peanut butter.
Dry goods like cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix and muffin mix will also be accepted, along with hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, razors, deodorant and bars of soap.
Each year, Faith Mission distributes over 85,000 pounds of food to Washington County residents in need.
Donations can be brought to Faith Mission & Help Center at 500 East Academy Street between Monday and Friday, during the hours of 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
For a complete list of items to donate, call Faith Mission at 979-830-1488.
