BURLESON CO. FAIR BEGINS SATURDAY
Fair season in Burleson County kicks off tomorrow (Saturday).
Activities for the fair, themed “Let the Good Times Roll”, get underway with the parade in downtown Caldwell at 10 a.m. The fair continues through next Saturday, September 28th at the Burleson County Fairgrounds.
Tuesday will be the crowning of the Burleson County Fair Queen and the winner of the Little Miss contest, beginning at 6 p.m.
This year’s fair queen candidates are Hadleigh Novosad and Macelynn Smith.
Livestock judging starts on Wednesday, leading up to Saturday’s youth livestock sale at 5 p.m. The Pride of Texas Shows Carnival opens on Wednesday and runs through Saturday.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Cody Joe Hodges on Thursday, Texas Unlimited Band and Roger Creager on Friday, and the Crossroads Band and Tracy Byrd to wrap up on Saturday.
