BRENHAM ISD INVITES APPLICANTS FOR AMBASSADOR ACADEMY

  

Brenham ISD is taking applications for its new Ambassador Academy.

The program offers an inside look into public education and the operations of Brenham ISD by providing a deeper understanding of how Brenham schools work.

Participants will learn more about district operations related to general business and school finance; curriculum, instruction and assessment; the district’s strategic plan; campus life at the elementary and secondary levels; and the roles and responsibilities of the superintendent, administrative cabinet and board members.

Ambassadors will meet once per month for a total of six sessions, beginning in October.  A total of 30 applicants will be selected.

Brenham ISD says the goal of the Ambassador Academy is to build a well-informed school community that cultivates open dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders.
