BOYS & GIRLS CLUB FORMS BLUE DOOR SOCIETY

  

The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County is launching the Blue Door Society.

The Club said that this exclusive community of philanthropists will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every child in Washington County has access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

Inspired by the Boys and Girls Club of America’s symbol of hope and opportunity, the Blue Door, this society is comprised of individuals, who pledge an annual gift of $2,500 or more for the next three years.

These funds directly support the Club’s operational expenses including:

Staff and mentors to provide youth with positive role models and guidance,

Enrichment programs to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills,

Character development activities to build strong values and leadership qualities,

And healthy snacks to fuel young minds and bodies.  

Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Shawn Koonce said every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and with the support of their generous donors, they can open doors to a brighter future for generations to come.

Each Blue Door Society member, along with a guest, is invited to attend two exclusive events annually.
