BLINN COLLEGE TO HOLD DECEMBER CONCERT SERIES

  

The Blinn College District Music Department will be presenting three free concerts ahead of their upcoming “Sounds of the Season” Showcase.

The performances include three various instrumental ensembles, and a choir concert.

The instrumental concerts include the Jazz Ensemble on Tuesday, December 3, the Symphonic Band on Wednesday, December 4, and the Percussion Ensemble on Thursday, December 5.

Each instrumental concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center on the Brenham Campus. The three performances are free and open to the public. No tickets are required.

For those unable to attend, each concert will be livestreamed on the Blinn Music Department’s YouTube channel.

A choir concert will then be held on Friday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. at Latter-Day Saints Church, 1400 Niebuhr Street in Brenham. Admission is free, and no tickets are required.

The Music Department will wrap up its fall 2024 performances with the popular “Sounds of the Season” concert Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. at Festival Hill in Round Top.

Blinn’s wind symphony and combined choirs will perform at the 850-seat concert hall venue. Tickets are $10 and available at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice.
