CUBS OPEN CORPUS CHRISTI TOURNAMENT WITH 2-0 LOSS TO LOS FRESNOS
The Brenham Cub Baseball Team started off the Corpus Christi Tournament with a 2-0 loss to the Los Fresnos Falcons earlier today (Thursday).
Dawson Keim pitched well enough to win, but the run support was not there. Keim went all seven innings allowing seven hits, two runs, only one was earned, one walk, and one strikeout.
The Cubs managed eight hits, but just could not get a run home.
Landry Mendoza led Brenham with three hits, including a double, and Dalton Hart had two hits. Cannon Credeur, Luke Hardy, and Owen Finke accounted for the other three hits.
The Cubs still have another game tonight (Thursday) against Corpus Christi Ray at 8pm.
They are schedule to play Corpus Christi Miller tomorrow (Friday) at 1pm, and Laredo United at 4:30pm.
