SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS MONDAY FOR WARRANTS, MARIJUANA POSSESSION
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported two arrests on warrants Monday morning.
Just before 11 a.m., Deputy Holmes initiated a traffic stop in the 8300 block of Highway 105 for speeding. Upon making contact with the driver, the deputy reported detecting an odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana, so the driver was taken into custody. Additionally, it was determined that the driver had numerous local warrants. 30-year-old Frednisha Denette Hill of Brenham was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Possession of Marijuana Less Than 2oz., Bond Surrender – Possession of Marijuana Less Than 2oz., three counts of Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Defective Stop Lamps, Unauthorized Use of a Temporary Cardboard Tag and Disregarding Official Traffic Control Device.
At 11:45 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of O’Malley Road for an agency assist concerning a missing person report filed with the College Station Police Department. The missing person, identified as 32-year-old Zachary Ryan Richardson of Bryan, was located. He was taken into custody due to an active warrant with the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office. Richardson was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram.
