ONE TRANSPORTED AFTER VEHICLE DRIVES INTO BRENHAM FIRE STATION
One person was transported by Washington County EMS this (Wednesday) morning after their vehicle drove into the Brenham Fire Station.
Brenham Fire Chief Mark Donovan says the auto-versus-building collision occurred shortly after 9:45 a.m.
Photos show an SUV ran into the corner of the fire station’s apparatus bay facing North Chappell Hill Street, causing damage to the front end of the vehicle.
Details on what caused the collision are still being investigated by Brenham police. A post on the Brenham Fire Department’s Facebook page described the patient's injuries as minor.
According to Donovan, a second vehicle was involved, but it only sustained minor damage.
Donovan says there were no injuries to fire department personnel. A structural engineer will come out to assess the fire station.
