BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL TO CANVASS RETURNS FROM COUNCIL, CHARTER AMENDMENT ELECTIONS

  

The Brenham City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday to canvass the returns from the May 3rd general and special elections.

The council will look to declare the results official from the council election for Wards 1 and 3, At-Large Position 5 and At-Large Position 6, as well as the election for 12 amendments to the city charter.

The council will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Brenham City Hall.  The swearing-in for the newly-elected councilmembers is planned for the next regular meeting on Thursday at 1 p.m.
