WASHINGTON CO. FARM BUREAU NAMES 2025 OUTSTANDING FARMER & RANCHER
The Washington County Farm Bureau named its Outstanding Farmer and Rancher of the Year during its annual meeting last week at the American Legion Hall in Brenham.

The recipient of the 2025 award was Calvin Boecker. Boecker was joined in the recognition by his family and fellow Farm Bureau members.
Last week’s meeting also included the re-election of Linda Oberhoff, Marcus Broesche and William Luedemann for three-year terms on the Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
Additionally, the meeting covered policy related to ample water supply for fire departments in subdivisions. The policy will forward to the Waco Policy Development committee for review and – if passed – will advance to the Texas Farm Bureau Annual State Meeting in Arlington.
