DUBINA CHURCH CELEBRATING 170 YEARS AT UPCOMING PICNIC

The Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Dubina is celebrating their 170th year with an upcoming Shrine Feast.
The celebration is on Sunday, July 5, beginning with a polka mass at 9am.
That will be followed by a lunch featuring “Dubina-Style” Fried Chicken and Sausage meals with all the trimmings. The cost is $15 per plate.
Serving begins at 10:30am, and they will have take home plates available through their express to-go line.
There is going to be free dancing under pavilion from noon -7pm with music from Mark Halata and Texavia, and Lost Cause Band.
Other activities include a country auction at 1:30pm, bingo from 2-6pm, hamburgers from 3-9pm, and a sweepstakes drawing at 7pm.
In addition to that, there are going to be antique and classic cars on site, tours of the painted church, and Dubina History Books for sale at the country store.
