SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS FOR INVALID LICENSE, REPEATEDLY CONTACTING 911 WITHOUT EMERGENCY
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people between Friday and early this (Monday) morning.
Just before 12:15 p.m. Friday, Deputy Jose Sanchez conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 East for a defective stop lamp. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver did not have a valid license. 36-year-old Juliano Antonio Lazcano of Washington was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
Shortly after 1:45 a.m. today, deputies responded to the 6100 block of Longpoint Road due to continuous non-emergency 911 calls. After speaking with the suspect and clearing the location, the sheriff’s office says the suspect placed more calls. Deputies returned to the location and arrested 29-year-old Nathan Cole Pitts of Burton, who was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Silent Abusive Call/Electronic Communication to 911 Service.
