BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE & MARIJUANA, PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Brenham police reported two arrests on Tuesday and one early this (Wednesday) morning.
Shortly before 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Officer Trinten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Highway 36 North. Police investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 23-year-old Eleazar Jaramillo-Lopez of Brenham, had two active warrants out of Brenham Municipal Court for No Driver's License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Police say he was also found to be in possession of narcotics. Jaramillo-Lopez was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for the warrants and for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.
Around 8:45 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a call for service in reference to a suspicious person in the 1000 block of East Alamo Street. Upon arrival to the location, officers determined that 29-year-old Eric Gael Hernandez of Burton was intoxicated in a public place. Hernandez was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident for Public Intoxication.
A few minutes after 12:30 a.m. today, Officer Brayten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of South Market Street. Police conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and reported finding marijuana. The driver, 26-year-old Madison Goode of Brenham, was placed in custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. Goode was transported to the Washington County Jail and released to jail staff.
