LA GRANGE MAN ARRESTED ON A DRUG CHARGE
A La Grange man was arrested on Tuesday morning after Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies found him allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.
According to Sheriff Keith Korenek, just before 11:30am, Deputies responded to a disturbance on Highway 77 near Rabbs Prairie Road.
Upon arrival, Deputies met with an individual identified as 30-year-old Christopher Alijah Hood, who appeared highly agitated and was talking about the welfare of a woman in a nearby residence.
Deputies frisked Hood prior to going to the female’s residence he was concerned about.
During the search, they located a meth pipe and a clear baggie of a crystal-like substance in his pocket.
Hood was arrested and taken to Dan R. Beck Justice Center in La Grange, where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Other units checked on the female who was found to be okay and needed no assistance.
