UH COACH WILLIE FRITZ TO SPEAK AT BARNHILL CENTER
The Barnhill Center will be welcoming University of Houston Head Football Coach Willie Fritz as the featured speaker for its Summer 2026 Speaker Luncheon.
The luncheon is being held on Tuesday, June 9, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The event will be held in Morriss Hall, located at 106 South Douglas Street.
Tickets are $40 per person, or attendees may reserve a premium table of 8 for $420.
Coach Fritz is known for his remarkable 33-year collegiate head coaching career and his deep Texas ties, including an important early chapter coaching at Blinn College, where he led the Buccaneers to two National Championships in 1995 and 1996.
The event promises an engaging look at leadership, perseverance, and the remarkable journey that shaped Coach Fritz’s career.
Barnhill Center Manager Alexandra Dill said that they couldn’t be more excited to welcome Coach Fritz to their 2026 Speaker Series.
She added that his deep ties to Brenham and his memorable years at Blinn College make this appearance especially meaningful for the community.
Dill also thanked Brenham Mayor Atwood Kenjura for helping to bring Coach Fritz in for the series. The doors will open at 11am, with the luncheon beginning at 11:30 am, and Coach Fritz will begin his presentation at 12:00 noon.
