ELGIN MAN BOOKED FOR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WARRANT, DRIVING WITH INVALID LICENSE

An Elgin man was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office early this (Wednesday) morning on a license charge and controlled substance warrant.
Around 12:15 a.m., Sergeant Adam Zavala conducted a traffic stop at Highway 290 East and Jozwiak Road for failure to drive in a single lane.
According to the sheriff’s office, the driver showed to have a suspended driver’s license along with an active warrant in Jefferson County.
44-year-old Robert Lee Reyna was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and his warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3, Less Than 28 Grams.
