BRENHAM FD RESPONDS TO CHILD LOCKED IN VEHICLE, FIRE ALARM
The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Thursday.
Shortly after 2 p.m., firefighters responded to Brenham Junior High School, 1200 Carlee Drive, for an alarm sounding. Nothing was showing from the outside of the building. The department found that the alarm went off due to employees cleaning. Units returned to service after the alarm was reset.
Just past 6 p.m., BFD members went out to H-E-B, 2508 South Day Street, for a report of a child locked inside a vehicle. They arrived to find a child locked inside the vehicle, but the child was not in any harm and was able to pull the door handle to unlock the vehicle. EMS checked the child out, and units cleared the call.
