COMMISSIONERS APPROVE OF RENAMING OF COUNTY ROAD

  

 The Washington County Commissioners agreed and approved the renaming previously unnamed road in the county located in Precinct Two when they met at their Tuesday morning meeting.

The renaming of a road needs three or more household to agree on the renaming. The children and grandchildren wanted the road renamed Koteras Road, despite some members of the commissioner’s court recommending a different naming.

The road is off of Trackside Road, and will still be considered by that name for safety purposes, for entities such as EMS, mail delivery and the Washington County Sheriff’s office.

The commission heard the monthly reports from accounts payable, Sheriff’s Office report, Washington county 911 report and the EMS monthly report.
