POLICE INVESTIGATE DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

  

Brenham Police report on an assault that occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

On Wednesday around 10:30am, Officer Ashley Burns responded to the 300 Block of W Main to a report of a male assaulting a female during an altercation.

According to the report, the male and female got into an altercation, with the male reportedly grabbing the female by the throat and throwing her to the ground.

The female then ran from the residence with the male following her. The female ran to a business down the street for help.

A passerby called the police when the male tried to get the female to return to the residence.

No arrest were made. The investigation continues.
