EZRA CHARLES TO CHRISTEN BARNHILL CENTER, SUNDAY

  

A favorite performer from the early Hot Nights, Cool Tunes years is returning to Brenham tomorrow (sunday) but at a different venue, and with a different show.

Ezra Charles will be in Brenham as the first act for the Grand Opening event performance at the Barnhill Center in the Historic Simon Theatre.The Center is set to kick-off a year of cultural, arts and entertainment programming.

The Ezra Charles performance will be the first public event in more than 30 years in the restored theatre space, now known as the Hasskarl Auditorium.

Donna Cummins, manager of the center says everyone is excited about Charles bringing his new show about the history of his style of music to this grand opening event
