DETAILS RELEASED ABOUT BODY FOUND IN MADISON COUNTY PASTURE

  

Preliminary results from forensic testing show that the decomposed body found in a Madison County pasture are that of a girl between the age of 2 and 5.

The body was found on Saturday in a container ialongside of I-45. A man had found the remains while he was attempting to mow his pasture.

The Southwestern Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas has also determined that the girl had black hair approximately 16 inches long. The child also had a medical device commonly used for feeding tubes, which may have manufacturing information that could be useful in the investigation.

While the case has been ruled as a homicide, the exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
