TEXAS COWBOY SUFFERS LIFE-THREATING INJURIES IN WY RODEO
Bradie Gray, an Odessa College student was severly injured during the College National Finals Rodeo event in Casper, Wyoming.
Gray’s coach, C.J. Aragon said Gray suffered an assortment of injuries, including collapsed lungs, a bruised aorta, and broken ribs after a bull threw him and then stepped on his chest during competition at the Casper Events Center on Thursday night.
Gray was taken to the Wyoming Medical Center, where he arrived with no pulse.
He has undergone surgery, and is currently in a medically induced coma. He had another surgery scheduled for yesterday (Friday).
Gray is a junior at the college, but is originally from Hallsville, New South Wales, Australia. According to reports, he had just returned from his fifth serious injury of his college career, and had ridden just one practice bull before the CNFR.
