BODY OF MISSING LEE CO. WOMAN FOUND
Authorities say the body of a missing Giddings woman has been found in Fayette County.
26-year old Jennifer Lynn Bailey had not been seen since last Monday.
Baily’s vehicle was discovered by a family friend who flew a private helicopter over a wooded area of Fayette County.
The searchers discovered her black Dodge, Saturday afternoon. A ground search of the area turned up Bailey’s body a short distance from her car.
Bailey, who has a 3 year old daughter, had called her brother Monday afternoon saying she had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend, and no longer wanted to live with him. Her brother told her to go to their mother’s house, but Bailey never arrived.
Family members say a text they received at 6:15 p.m. Monday could be taken as a suicide note.
Bailey’s boyfriend has been questioned by authorities, who do not suspect foul play.
Authorities have not released the cause of death at this time.
