Cub Spotlight

A wonderful celebration at Brenham Elementary for the Cubs 2 Read program! Students and their tutors gathered to celebrate a year of growth, connection, and success. Through time, encouragement, and consistency, these relationships have helped build confident readers and strong bonds.

Hands-On Science: The 8th Grade Pig Pluck! 8th graders stepped out of the textbook and into the lab for the annual Pig Pluck! This unique science experience gives students a fascinating, up-close look at the respiratory and circulatory systems, allowing them to examine the heart and lungs through hands-on dissection.

Congratulations to the Brenham Junior High students who were awarded monetary prizes for their participation in the Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest! This year’s topic, “How Do You Show Patriotism?”, challenged students to reflect on the meaning of patriotism and how it is demonstrated in everyday life.

Congratulations to the Brenham Winterguard on an incredible performance, earning 3rd place and advancing to the State competition! Their hard work, dedication, and artistry have truly shined all season long. They will take the floor again at State in San Marcos on April 18.
