BRIDGE REPAIR IN GRIMES CO. COULD TAKE WEEKS TO COMPLETE

  

Grimes County officials say that the bridge on State Highway 30 at Gibbons Creek could remain closed for up to a month.

The bridge on Texas 30, between Huntsville and College Station, was closed Tuesday by TxDOT because of structural damage concerns.

Until work on the bridge is complete, traffic is being detoured onto Highway 90, near Roans Prairie.  Traffic is also being directed to FM 244 on the west side of Gibbons Creek.
