The Sons of Confederate Veterans Meeting (Brenham)

Sons of Confederate Veterans upcoming meeting; the speaker will be Derrick Birdsall, Director, Sam Houston Memorial Museum in Huntsville.  He will speak about Sam Houston, Jr., and his Confederate service.  Derrick will bring with him a collection of drawings/sketches by Sam Jr. that he made during his Confederate service.  Please join the meeting on Tuesday, September 2, to hear what is sure to be a most interesting/enjoyable presentation.  Meet at Texas Seafood and Steakhouse, plan on arriving NLT 6 PM for meals and mingling; the program is to begin about 7:00.  As always, spouses and guests are welcome.
